HOW TO "WHITE LIST" DATING DYNAMICS SO YOU CAN KEEP GETTING CARLOS' GREAT ADVICE...
Increasingly, ISPs (earthlink.net, comcast.net, etc) and mail services (Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail), even AOL, are using filtering systems to try to keep spam out of customers' mailboxes. Sometimes, though, they accidentally filter the email that you do want to receive. Please don’t blame your ISP or mail service. The volume of spam is enormous and the algorithms to figure out what is spam (and what is not) are complicated. Mistakes do happen. Unfortunately, we all have to deal with the consequences of what spammers do on the Internet. Naturally, you want to block spam. And you want to receive important communications from “Dating Dynamics” and Carlos Xuma, including our Dating Advice Newsletters, as well as support email, other emails that you request (and we only send email that you request). To make sure that mail related to Dating Dynamics and Carlos Xuma is not deleted or filtered into a "junk", "spam", or "bulk" folder, please add the following addresses to your list of trusted senders (“white list”) and/or your Address Book / contact list (in your email settings): guru @datingadviceguru.com (our newsletters come from here) This should guarantee that you will receive whatever email you need... Newsletters,
announcements, notices of specials, support requests, etc. We only EVER send
email that you specifically request.
PROBLEMS GETTING OUR EMAILS?GENERAL If the instructions below don't apply to your situation, the best thing you
can do is add guru @datingadviceguru.com to your
'friend's list' or contact list. Look in your junk mail folder, deleted items
folder, or bulk mail folder for any messages from us and click on "not
junk" or "not spam". If this isn't solving the situation, please
email us HERE for more help.
AOL If you do happen to successfully receive an email from guru
@datingadviceguru.com, click the Add Address button (on the right)
to add to your "People I Know" list. This will ensure that future
emails won't be blocked. Alternatively, you can just send an e-mail to guru
@datingadviceguru.com (say anything you want). This will add us to
your "People
I Know" list automatically. Different versions have different features. For example in version 7.0, go to Keyword: Mail Controls -- after you select your screen name and left-click on "Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name," enter the above domains in the section "exclusion and inclusion parameters." For AOL version 8.0, select "Allow email from all AOL members, email addresses and domains." Then left-click on "Next" until the Save button shows up at the bottom. Left click on "Save."
Click the Options link, on the main menu tabs, then Safe List. Type: guru @datingadviceguru.com. If you see a message that should not be in your Junk Mail folder, click 'This is not Junk Mail' to avoid having e-mail from the same source sent to the Junk Mail folder in the future. * Go to your Hotmail Inbox NOTE: Hotmail's "safe list" sometimes does not work.
Yahoo! Mail: Open your Yahoo! mailbox. Click Mail Options. Click Filters. Click Add Filter. In the top row, labeled 'From header:' make sure Contains is selected in the pull-down menu. Click in the text box next to that pull-down menu, then enter the address: guru @datingadviceguru.com. Click the Add Filter button again. If emails from us have been filtered to your bulk folder, simply open the message and click on the "This is not Spam" link next to the "From" field. * Go to your Yahoo! Inbox
Gmail: First of all, if our messages have been delivered to your Spam folder, select the message(s) and click Not Spam. Second, click on Contacts then Add Contact, type whatever you'd like for Name, and add guru @datingadviceguru.com then click Save. * Go to your Gmail Inbox
Microsoft Outlook 2003: On the Tools menu, click Options. On the Preferences tab, under E-mail, click Junk E-mail. Click the Safe Senders or Safe Recipients tab. Click Add. In the Enter an e-mail address or Internet domain name to be added to the list box, enter guru @datingadviceguru.com. * Go to your Outlook Inbox Whitelisting on ATT.net If Spam-blocker is enabled and if the email message is legitimate and was screened as spam, forward the original message as an attachment to this-is-not-spam@worldnet.att.net.
Whitelisting on Speakeasy.net Speakeasy uses spamassassin with a default level of 6 out of 10. To white list, login to the myspeakeasy part of speakeasy.net and click on the 'webmail' tab. Then open the 'manage spam filter'. Here you can add addresses to the 'approved list', once done all email will go through.
Whitelisting on Other Mail Services Each mail service is a little different, but the idea is the same. If you can't find how to add the datingadviceguru.com domains to a “white list”, try adding specific datingadviceguru.com addresses to your address book, or moving the message from the Junk folder to your 'inbox' or forwarding the message to yourself (if you're getting it at all, that is). If email continues to be filtered out, call or email your mail service tech support or postmaster@your-mailservice.com and specifically ask how you can be sure to receive all email from datingadviceguru.com.
Whitelisting on Other ISP's Each ISP is a little different, but the idea is the same. ISPs usually provide help or instructions about whitelisting.
